Dedicated follower of fashion

I’ve been dying to tell you about this – and finally I can. A while back, Bon Marche magazine contacted me as they’d been following my Insta and liked the look of the styles I was showcasing. They wanted me to appear in a four-page photoshoot and interview article, highlighting the brand’s Winter collection. This was tremendously exciting as it was my first photoshoot, plus a chance to share some of the style tips I’ve picked over my years working in the fashion industry.

I spent the day with the team selecting my favourite pieces from the new season collection and talking through the winter styles, as well as delving a little into my background to see where some of my fashion influences started. A childhood spent living in Salcombe, Devon, for example – where Breton tops are everywhere – definitely started me on my stripe-loving journey.

The whole experience was lovely, and the shoot crew couldn’t have been nicer. Plus I got the opportunity to enjoy hair and make-up pampering, plus rails of great fashion items to choose from. Oh, and a rather delicious lunch!
